We’re pleased to share with you that eight members of staff have successfully achieved their IOSH Managing Safely Award. The course, approved by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, was delivered by Jeanne Fairbrother Associates. They successfully completed the three day training and passed the exam with flying colours. The qualification gives them the knowledge and tools they need to help keep our school safe. Well done to everyone and good luck to those who are hot on their heels.
The training gives those with health and safety coordination roles and management responsibilities the knowledge and skills they need to manage health and safety within their teams. It covers responsibilities for health and safety, hazard identification, assessing and controlling risks, accident investigation and measuring performance giving them the confidence to drive health and safety performance within their teams and to improve the health and safety culture of the school as a whole.
