7th State School for Sporting Achievement

School Sport magazine have revealed their exclusive Top 100 state sports schools of the year.

Reflecting on competitive achievement in a range of sports throughout the year and based on 19 different sports in 120  competitions, Calday are in 7th place which places us in the top 1% of schools in the country for sporting outcomes.

Head of Sport, Paul Miller said, "It is an excellent achievement to make the coveted top 30 again for the fourth time in seven years and I would like to congratulate the pupils and staff or this achievement. I would also like to thank the PE teaching staff, coaching staff, parents, form tutors, canteen staff, grounds staff and respective club coaches who all contribute in different ways to allow the school teams to regularly perform to such high standards."

The top state schools were revealed in the November edition of School Sport magazine. We would like to congratulate the other schools who made it to the top 100.
