The Christopher Todd Memorial Hockey Pitch

Calday's hockey pitch was renamed in memory of former teacher and hockey coach Christopher Todd.

Calday's hockey pitch was renamed last night in memory of former teacher and hockey coach Christopher Todd who passed away last year.

Members of Chris's family, friends, former colleagues, current students and old Caldeians attended the opening, at the school's sports ground Glasspool Fields. Headteacher Mark Rodaway and former student, GB and England coach and player Bobby Crutchley formally renamed the pitch and unveiled a plaque dedicated to Chris.

Hockey matches took place between Calday's First Team, Recent Old Boys Team and a team from the 1980's who won the National Final coached by Chris.
