Information about the service
The C Series bus service to the Wallasey and New Brighton area has been running successfully since 2006.
The double decker buses are fitted with seat belts and the majority have CCTV installed which is routinely recorded for the safety and security of students and drivers. All drivers are required to hold a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
The timetables for each bus will vary and it is very important that students travel on the bus for which they hold a valid pass. Students will not be permitted to travel if they do not produce a valid pass.

All of the buses follow the same route, however timings may vary. There are no fixed bus stops and students may embark and alight at any bus stop along the route.
Brighton Street (Seacombe) via King Street, Seabank Road, Rowson Street, New Brighton Promenade, Rowson Street, Mount Pleasant Road, Seaview Road, Liscard Village, Liscard Crescent, Mill Lane, St Alban’s Road, Wallasey Village, Wallasey Road, St Hilary Brow, Breck Road, Leasowe Road, Pasture Road. The last stop is just before Moreton Library where the buses carry straight on, with no more stops, to West Kirby Grammar School and Calday Grange Grammar School. The afternoon route is exactly the same, but in reverse order.
The time table operates every day during term time and shows approximate arrival times at each section of the route.

Please remember that students will NOT be permitted to travel if they do not produce a valid pass.
Price and payment options
For 2019/20 the cost of an annual bus pass for the C Series service will be £510.00. You have the option to pay in full or in instalments. This is done by Direct Debit using GoCardless our new direct debit facility. There is no charge to parents for paying this way and this facility has been introduced to offer more convenient payments for parents and carers.
If you choose to pay in instalments the first instalment will leave your bank account on the second day of the month after you have set up the Direct Debit, with seven equal monthly payments thereafter. How to Purchase the Annual Pass
You must set up a new Direct Debit each year.
The deadline for setting up a payment plan to guarantee a bus pass on one of these buses is Sunday 7 July 2019. We will continue to accept applications after the deadline above and will try to accommodate your preference if we can. The option to pay will remain live until Wednesday 28 August 2019. After this date, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
STEP 1: Please select the appropriate payment method below for your preferred bus stop and you will be directed to GoCardless to set up your payment.
STEP 2: The final part of the payment process directs you back to this website where you will need to complete a simple form in order that we can prepare your bus pass. This will either be posted to you, or may be collected from Calday Grange Grammar School.
