Student Enrichment Fund

Supporting Enrichment Activities

Because we understand the importance of enrichment activities and appreciate the benefits of participation for our students, it is essential that we provide the best possible opportunities at Calday Grange Grammar School. In order to continue to do this we have launched the Student Enrichment Fund.

What enrichment opportunities do we offer?

We encourage all of our students to broaden their horizons through involvement in enrichment activities.  These activities form a major part of our school’s ethos.  Our extensive programme includes, Drama, Music (Choir, Band, Orchestra), Cookery, Robotics, special interest clubs such as Quizzing, Nature, Politics to name a few. We offer a wide range of sporting activities, Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Hockey, Multi Gym, Netball, Rugby, Sailing, Swimming, Tennis and Table Tennis!

We value our ability to offer such a broad range of opportunities, however in this time of ever decreasing funds and continued financial burden upon schools, we are unable to maintain the full range of enrichment activities without your help and support.

How can you help?

By contributing £60 per student per year you will enable us to continue to provide the extensive range of enrichment activities for all students.

How to donate?

We are suggesting that parents and supporters sign up to make a regular donation of just £5 per month; however, we are grateful for your support large or small and one-off donations can be accepted.

Single Annual Payment

If you have a child at the School you can make a single annual contribution through your ParentPay account at or by debit/credit card, cash or cheque at the Enrichment Payment Point which will be available at all parents evenings and large school events.

Single Annual or Regular Monthly Payments with Gift Aid

Through the Charities Aid Foundation, via our school website, parents and supporters of the School are able to make one-off or regular payments via debit/credit card, PayPal or direct debit.

If you are a taxpayer, the School is able to claim Gift Aid on your donation, which would have the impact of increasing a £5 regular monthly donation to £6.25.

What will your contribution be used for?

Funds raised will be used to directly support enrichment activities including, but not limited to:

  • Drama activities and productions
  • Lunchtime activities and clubs
  • Music rehearsals and concerts
  • Robotics and coding club
  • School Sport – competition entry, affiliation fees, we do not charge students for travel to play at away fixtures or for the cost of additional specialist sports coaches.
What it will not be used for:

We will not use these funds to support the general running of the school or for any activities that are funded by a separate funding source.

Please help us to provide the best possible opportunities for students at Calday Grange Grammar School. We cannot do it without you!

Please go to your parent pay account to set up your voluntary donation or click here and you will be directed to the Charities Aid Foundation website.

Thank you for your support
